NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
The Highland County Board of Supervisors will hold a public hearing on Thursday, April 11, 2024, at 7:30 p.m. in the second floor courtroom of the Highland County courthouse located at 165 W. Main Street, Monterey, VA, to receive public input on increasing both the Enterprise Fee (solid waste removal, currently at $150.00/year) and the Emergency Medical Services Fee (currently at $180.00/year). Neither fee is completely funding the program it supports, requiring the Board to consider raising either or both fees.
